About the Mural
Watch how the mural was made in this video
This mural celebrates SingHealth Community Hospitals' journey in advancing Social Prescribing as part of a holistic, person-centred approach to care. Through symbols of movement, music, nature, community, and interlocking puzzle pieces, it reflects the connection between medical and social prescribing and the belief that health extends beyond treating illness to encompass physical, mental, and social well-being. It also honours the power of human connection and collaboration, highlighting how Social Prescribing has grown into a global movement that brings together healthcare, social care, and community partners to support healthier lives.

The mural is located at Lobby C, Level 12, Outram Community Hospital.
Involving the community

On 2 December 2025, in collaboration with ArtsEverywhere@CDC, an initiative by the National Arts Council Singapore, SingHealth Community Hospitals hosted the Creative Wellness@OCH event, bringing together staff, patients, volunteers, and members of the public for an inspiring afternoon celebrating creativity and community.
Participants took part in a hands-on painting session, each creating a unique artwork on a 6-inch × 6-inch canvas tile. These individual pieces were later assembled as part of the vibrant wall mural, transforming personal expressions into a collective artwork that reflects the spirit of healing, connection, and shared creativity.
